Diversity & Faith Statement
David's Kingdom Academy welcomes children and families of all backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. We provide a safe, nurturing, and home-like learning environment for infants through school-age children (up to 12 years old).
Our program is founded on Christian faith and values. Our curriculum and daily activities are grounded in biblical principles and include age-appropriate Bible stories, prayer, worship songs, and character-building lessons that encourage kindness, honesty, compassion, respect, forgiveness, and love.
While our program is distinctly Christian, we respect the dignity and individuality of every child and family. We are committed to providing developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences that comply with California Title 22 Community Care Licensing regulations.
Our goal is to partner with families to nurture each child's spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in an environment rooted in faith, excellence, compassion, integrity, and mutual respect.
Committed to Your Child's Safety and Security
At David’s Kingdom Academy, your child’s safety is our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure, well-prepared environment supported by trained staff, strong safety policies, and emergency readiness.

All staff are certified in CPR, Pediatric First Aid, and Preventive Health & Safety.
-
Our center is equipped with fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency equipment for fire, earthquake, and flood situations.

We maintain emergency supplies, including food, water, blankets, flashlights, hygiene kits, and other essential items to ensure children’s needs are met during unexpected situations.
-
A detailed emergency response and evacuation plan guides our actions in every type of emergency.
Active Supervision
-
Children are actively supervised throughout the day—during indoor activities, outdoor play, transitions, meals, and rest times.
-
Baby monitors are used to support supervision in infant and nap areas.
Safe Sleep Practices for Infants
We follow all Safe Sleep guidelines, including:
-
Placing infants on their backs to sleep.

Keeping cribs free from blankets, pillows, toys, bumpers, and loose items.
-
Providing each baby with their own designated safe sleep space.

Conducting regular visual checks every 15 minutes and monitoring throughout rest periods.
